Report Text



Nina was born in Yogya. She is very beautiful woman but she very strong and gentle. She lived by herself, her parent died if she child. Thirteenth years later, her aunt is people that rear and take care with her until her can finished her education and be clever people. But, one year later her aunt was died. She has been live alone.
Nina has many talents. There is a good runner, a good speaker in 5 languages, and she is a good writer. She has been written many novel and short story. Her novel which has she wrote is about her experience, the real life, and usually she wrote story about her family or her friend. She ever is a winner in run champion. Those are a best moment for her. She always dreaming be a winner, this is a result of her buffetings. She starts exercise in primary school. She always try to be a good people and gave something for her country

Phrase and Clause


Phrase is combination words which already contains understanding, but not has subject and predicate, and form of sentence. Building the purpose, phrase can divide into 3, namely:
a.       Noun Phrase
Noun phrase is phrase that used as noun.
Example:
·         The table in this room is small
·         Billy went to store for some books.
b.      Adjective Phrase
Adjective phrase is phrase which used as adjective.
Example:
·         The girl with brown skin is my sister.
·         His success in life began early
c.       Adverbial Phrase
Adverbial phrase is phrase which used as adverb.
Example:
·         He put the money into his pocket.
·         Budi fishes in the big lake.
Building on introductory words, phrase can classified into 4, namely:
a.       Preposition Phrase
Preposition phrase is expression which have preposition and usually used as noun.
Example: the report will be sent in a few days.
b.      Participle Phrase
Participle phrase is expression which have participle that usually as adjective.
Example: having finished her assignment, he went home.
c.       Infinitive Phrase
Infinitive phrase is expression which have infinitive and infinitive phrase and  usually as noun, adjective and adverb.
Example: to see his children again will make him happy (noun)
                He is a good man for you know (adjective)
                I had hoped to see her soon. (adv)
d.      Gerund phrase
Gerund phrase is expression which contains gerund and usually only used as noun.
Example: playing with guns is dangerous.



Clause
Clause is group of word which contains subject and predicate. Clause can devide into:
a.       Main Clause
Main clause also called independent clause is group of words which contains subject and predicate that has prefect definition and can stand alone.
Example: we study mathematics.
b.      Subordinate Clause
Refers to dependent clause is group of words which contains subject and predicate but haven’t prefect definition, and can’t stand alone. The meaning depend on the other word.
Example: I will you go if you go
                   I will read book if you read.
Building on the function clause can classified into three kind, namely:
a.       Noun Clause
Noun clause is used as a subject or an object. In other words, a noun clause is used in the same ways as a noun phrase.
Example: what he said was interesting
b.      Adverbial Clause
Adverbial clause is one kind of dependent clause. A dependent must be attached to an independent or main clause.
Example: He come post office when the post office closed.
                   When it began rain, we drive faster.
c.       Adjective Clause
Adjective clause is a dependent clause which modifies noun, it describe, identifies, or gives further information about a noun.
Example: the doll which is on the table is mine.
