Language
is equipment to communicated what we want to share an opinion with other
people. Every country has different language, morover in the city has a
different language. For example, in Indonesia has many language: in Surabaya
use javanese language, in Jakarta use Betawi language, in Bandung use Sunda
language,etc. Language has many advantages for people, without language people
in the world cannot has relationship with other
people, without language people cannot to open their knowledge. To get
the knowledge not only in our city or in our country but we can get the knowledge in other country
in the world. Because of many language in the world we difficult to learn all
of them. But don’t worry about it, we can use English language to communication
with people in other country. English is importance to Indonesia because with English,
Indonesia can has connection with other country in enomic, social, and education. English has
many advantages for education in Indonesia. Many student of Indonesia school in
other language and they can take many knowledge and share to people in Indonesia. English is the
foreign language in Indonesia,. Many people of Indonesia think that English is
difficult to understand. From the reason, Government of Indonesia have to
determine that English become a subject metter
from elemantary school until senior hight school. Althought, many people of
Indonesia says that student in the elementary school should have only learn
Indonesian language, but
I agree that English should given start from Elementary school.
Opponents
of deleted English of elementary school that the omission aimed to give ample
time for students to master the Indonesian language first before diving into
foreign languages. In spite of the fact that some parents says students will
be feel difficult if English deleted from primary school because of
the way he thinks is the golden age of approximately 2 years of age through adolescence, we must accustom them
English so that they always remember about
the matter and already
fluent in English when they were in junior
high. It will relieve them in the subject matter in junior high. I know that English is
foreign language in Indonesia, but
it is the importance to make students get ather language to make they easier
communicate with other people in other country. People in Indonesia not only
communicate with people of Indonesia only but they need English to get some
information of technology, education, economic in other country.
The
second opponents come from the Deputy Education and Cultur Minister says that elementary schools
won’t have English lessons because
students haven’t even learned to understand the Indonesian language yet. In the world of language learning, known as crytical hypothesis,
that
foreign language learning in children
showed better results than in adults. Among
children entering puberty,
brain function will
change. English is a foreign language in Indonesia, but as we know that Indonesia
need information from other country to correct the something wrong in
Indonesia.
Opponents
also maintain that stressed in all schools had to implement the change in their
curriculum. Ministry Education have plans to trim the existing primary school
subjects into six, namely religion, Indonesian language, civics education, arts
and skills, physical
education and general
knowledge. However the
ministry change the subject. But,
their argument opposite with what they do. We can see, English still be the
subject of final exam of primary school. From decision of ministry Education in
Indonesia they cannot give a solution for student to make clear about English
in the final examination in the last project in primary school. Student still
confuse what they do to make their score more better in the final examination.
Private school is not enought to make their English be better because not all
of the students can take the private school.
It
should be evident that the argument againts omitting English from primary
school. On the country, many people involed in primary school education says
that English is importance to develop the basic English of student in primary
school, without learn English in primary school they will get the difficult
thing in English. The second reason in
the age of globalization and an
increasingly open international
language is English. So the
English language was taught from an early age in order to assist in the journey of learning and capabilities
of the children later. I disagree because the students will not
be fluent in English. finally, english is importance for
student of primary school and they will be fluent in English.
